Internet is better than books essay
Because of this, despite easier access, our amount of access has decreased.
With so much rubbish mixed in to the pile of information, our brains can't possible absorb it all, or even begin to accurately pick out what is and isn't important. Usually, researchers who use books go to libraries.
Why books are better than technology
Not a lot of people have plenty of books at home. Most will admit that the Internet has changed the way we think, but not for the worse. It is almost impossible to have not used it. They say that not enough books are read. New Dumbest Generation? The problem I have identified with this is that we spend too much time on these sites, doing unproductive things, which end up detracting from our learning. There are existing eBooks and Audio books, which can replace traditional books. I'm really sorry for the late reply. It was so stimulating that the authors of the study believe it could actually help people maintain healthier brains into their old age. People no longer have to find books to educate themselves. Much of our face to face interaction has been replaced by the Internet, which has lead to decreased social skills, and I would also add decreased exercise.
Thus concludes my side of the debate, I have thoroughly enjoyed it and found it to be quite intriguing. The difference?
Moving on, I would like to say I appreciate this thought provoking debate, and look forward to providing as solid a rebuttal as I can create. First of all, social media has provided our generation with the need for instant communication. But thankfully, some internet sites come along with proper and secure methods to keep it safe; like the use of passwords and usernames.
In contrast to books, modern technology like mobile phones, computers or tablets does not harm the environment to a very great extent.
